Latest: The Hunt Roblox 20 — ends ~10 AM PT September 28, 2026

Roblox’s 20th-anniversary Hunt route drops players into a 2008-themed lobby tied to Rocket Arena. The event runs about September 17–28, 2026, ending around 10 AM Pacific Time on September 28. Finish eggs, knockouts, and the lobby claim before that cutoff. Dedicated briefing: Hunt: Roblox 20.

After finishing earlier year challenges, touch the Mysterious Cube in the 2007 stage to reach the 2008 hub, talk to Person299, and complete two jobs:

  1. Paint 10 eggs around the 2008 lobby with the paintgun (walking near them is not enough).
  2. Enter the Rocket Arena portal, score 5 knockouts, then return to the lobby to claim the Brick-Blast Jetpack UGC / Warrior Badge reward near the central tree by Person299.

Full egg routing lives on Hunt Egg Locations. Track progress with the Egg Checklist. Jetpack claim steps are on Brick-Blast Jetpack. Stuck counters: Hunt Troubleshooting. For faster KOs, use spawn pressure after shields drop—covered in Knockout Tips and ranked on the Tier List. Place confusion: Remake vs Classic.

Remake patch status (Build N Blox)

The everyday remake (universe 1754158133) remains the practice arena for badges and PvP. Last publicly verified remake update on this wiki: July 22, 2026. No later public patch notes were found after that date at the time of writing. Remake badge grinding (milestones, streaks, named kills) is documented on Players and Kill Badges. There are still no known redeem codes as of September 2026 (Codes).

Timeline: 2006 to 2026

2006 — Classic Rocket Arena launches

Classic Rocket Arena is widely cited as one of the first structured Roblox experiences from the official Roblox account: free-for-all BrickBattle combat with rocket launchers, jetboots, destructible bridges, and lava. It helped define early multiplayer expectations on the platform—physics toys as weapons, not just walking sandboxes.

2015 — Tools break

Engine and networking changes (including the FilteringEnabled era) left legacy tool scripts incompatible. Jetboots and launchers stopped behaving. Visits collapsed because the place remained listed while being effectively unplayable.

2017 — Official removal / private era

Roblox privated or removed most original BrickBattle showcases besides survivors like Crossroads. Classic Rocket Arena left casual rotation. Community archives and remakes became the only practical way to feel the mode.

2020 — Build N Blox remake

Build N Blox (JHammur and collaborators) shipped a modernized remake with the classic fantasy intact—rockets, jetboots, bridges, lava—plus quality-of-life touches fans expect now. It has grown past 2.5M visits and remains the everyday place to train. Start with Getting Started if you are new to the remake.

2026 — Hunt restore and anniversary spotlight

For The Hunt: Roblox 20, Roblox restored and refreshed the Classic Rocket Arena place (tools fixed, light map/HUD updates, event integration). The mode returned to mainstream feeds not as a permanent live-ops product with daily codes, but as a nostalgia challenge with UGC on the other side — active through about 10 AM PT September 28, 2026.

That distinction matters for SEO visitors: event progress is eggs + knockouts, not promo strings or executors (Scripts explains why we refuse fake loadstrings).

When Build N Blox ships noticeable remake changes (map props, kill effects, tool feel), we will add dated entries under this Updates Hub. Until then, treat this page as the canonical history + Hunt briefing, with the dated event page at Hunt: Roblox 20.

Practical update checklist for players

  1. Confirm which place you joined—remake vs Classic Hunt—using Official Links and Remake vs Classic.
  2. If you are event-focused, finish eggs with the Egg Checklist before the Sep 28 ~10 AM PT cutoff.
  3. Warm up jetboots on the remake so Hunt deaths to lava drop (Jetboots, Mobile Tips).
  4. Skim Map Layout if the Classic geometry feels unfamiliar after years away.
  5. Ignore unrelated games that reused the Rocket Arena name in script boards or code lists.

Rocket Arena keeps coming back because the fantasy is simple and sharp: one rocket, one pair of jetboots, and a map that falls apart under pressure. The Hunt simply put that fantasy on the front page again — until about 10 AM PT on September 28, 2026.
